Why might want to be a bit considerate of others

You are in a group trying to finish up a project, and the leader of the group divides up the work equally to everyone; the success of the project depends on everyone doing their bits. Say you didn't your little bit, and everyone else did their part. (imagine you did your part and everything you did is in vain since someone else in the group didn't do their bit)
