Human hatred bla bla bla....

As a kid, I used to think that adults knew everything, I thought they had everything figured out. I thought they had all the solutions, all the answers. But being one, I know that adults are as clueless about things as kids. Anyhow I suppose its a part of being human to keep asking questions- even if you know you are not going to get answers.

Tonight am wondering, what is the source of hatred between human beings? Can we ever rid ourselves of hatred for good? Maybe hatred is as human as human curiosity.

Anyhow, let's see we share this world with roughly 6,707,035,007 other human being, but we are divided over 249 nations, we have different genders, we do not share the same hair, eye or skin color, we do not share the same religious beliefs, or even political views.

I suppose we have established the fact that human are divided into groups, who look, think very differently from one another.

Could these differences be the source of hatred? if thats the case I suppose we have to learn to respect these differences. And more importantly, try to understand each other.

And lastly if you have done wrong learn to apologize, learn to forgive and let go.

  2. like u said..maybe the underlying cause is that ppl cant accept the differences of culture, religion and all other factors uve mentioned..it would take collective effort to change the way ppl think dho..wish theyd all just think abt what uve said for a moment...great post btw..:D

  3. I'v noticed something interesting about evolution of hatred...

If you come across hatred and negativity daily in your life the most gentle and loving ppl can even give way to it..and become really negative hurtful people..Its sad though..Iv seen it happen infront of my very own eyes..and I'v always considered myself immune to it..but lately I'v discovered it just might be a matter of time and threshold and we all are capable of the worst..

it is kinda disconcerting and bleak... damn!

  4. differences are inevitable right? i think the problem is that we focus on the differences rather than our similarities, so we're always building walls to keep out the 'others' instead of building bridges and connecting with people.
